Narrated to my son Ozim, Strange Encounter with the Ancestors is a literary and visual recollection of a very remarkable event in my life. This occurred as, in the wake of the Nigerian civil war in 1967, I journeyed from visiting my mother in Enugu - capital of the then Eastern Nigeria - to my homeland Inyi in the same region. My father had died in the military-coup that would precipitate the declaration of that region as the country of Biafra. READ ON HERE THE STORY
